Mary Kay Brooks

“Michelle is an exceptional insurance broker. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. She takes her time and asks questions to help determine which policy met me needs, and was very patient while I weighed the different options. Even during busy seasons, she never rushes, responds quickly, and doesn’t seemed stressed in the least.

“I wholeheartedly recommend contacting Michelle and Emily if you are looking for health insurance. We were happy with our previous health insurance provider but we are delighted to have made the switch because Michelle and Emily have saved us thousands of dollars with BETTER providers for both health and dental insurance. We always thought dental insurance was too expensive, but Michelle and Emily again saved us money from the start. It definitely pays to work with people who have years of experience, who really pay attention to your needs, and do their best to help you get the best value for your money. Thank you so much Idaho Insurance Specialists for going the extra mile.

Individual Health Care

This is one of the most confusing products on the market today. Between knowing the terms of what a deductible, co-insurance, out-of-pocket, and prescription drug coverage can mean to your pocketbook, the types of plans are confusing as well. Using a certified and qualified agent to guide you through the decision-making process can be beneficial to you.

Medicare is our country’s health insurance program for people age 65 or older and younger people receiving Social Security disability benefits. The program helps with the cost of health care, but it doesn’t cover all medical expenses or the cost of most long-term care.

To help pay your out-of-pocket costs in Original Medicare (like your deductible and 20% coinsurance), you need to shop for and buy supplemental coverage or Medicare Advantage program.

Long Term Care

Long Term Care insurance covers needs that are not covered by Medicare or Medicaid.

Long Term care policies generally cover home care, assisted living, adult daycare, respite car, hospice, nursing home and Alzheimer’s facilities. Long Term care insurance helps to pay for out of pocket expenses. The kinds of long term care plans and premiums available vary with the needs of the client and allow them to choose the daily coverage amount and terms of the policy.

Accident insurance

When accidents happen, they’re often followed by a series of bills. Even with sound health insurance, you can still have out-of-pocket expenses, such as doctor bills, ambulance charges and emergency room fees.

Our accident insurance plans can help offset the unexpected medical expenses that may result from a fracture, dislocation, or other covered accidental injuries.

Life Insurance

This product can keep a family from financial disaster if the main breadwinner dies unexpectedly.

There are two main types of life insurance: Term Life that covers you for a set number of years as few as 5 and as many as 30, or Whole Life insurance that can be considered a savings plan with a death benefit if the policyholder dies.

There are a variety of products and companies with different types of coverage.

Vision plans typically cover an eye exam every 12 months and may include an allowance for frames and contacts.

This is an important part of overall health care.

We have plans available for individuals and employer groups.

Disability Insurance

What is more important to protect than your income, the most valuable asset you have? If you had an accident or serious illness and could not work, would you have any help with medical expenses or your everyday household expenses? Disability insurance can help cover all these important things. Whether for an employer group or individual, we have a plan that fits your budget and needs.

Dental Insurance

There is a strong link between the health of your teeth and gums and the development of medical conditions. Bacterial infections in your mouth can travel and infect other parts of your body.

The recommendation is to get a dental exam at least twice a year. Dental insurance plans are available for every budget to help stem the cost of dental expenses. We can help you find the right one for your employees or your family.
